Myanmar’s two-division world champion defends belt against Japanese counterpart

YANGON, June 30, 2018 (BSS/Xinhua) – Myanmar’s two-division ONE world champion Aung La N Sang won in defending his middleweight champion title against Japanese Ken Hsegawa at a contest held at Yangon’s Thuwanna National Indoor Stadium on late Friday.

The Kachin warrior Aung La face-planted and knocked Japanese counterpart down with a massive strike at 03:13 minutes of fifth round.

The 33-year-old Burmese Python Aung La N Sang won middleweight championship title in a rematch to challenge Russian Vitaly Bigdash of ONE Championship: Light of A Nation in June Last year.

Also, Aung La grabbed the light heavyweight world championship belt against Brazilian Alexandre Machado at ONE: QUEST FOR GOLD in February this year.
