RAJSHAHI, Aug 28, 2020 (BSS) – Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), in an anti-crime drive, arrested two alleged drug peddlers with 984 yaba tablets here today.
According to the RAB sources, the arrested were identified as Jahangir Alam, 35, son of late Ishaque Ali and Rabiul Islam, 36, son of Keramat Ali, both under Bagha upazila in the district.
On a tip-off, a team of the elite force conducted a raid in Murshidpur village under Bagha upazila and nabbed them with the contraband items around 2pm, the sources said.
A case was recorded with Bagha Police Station and the arrested persons along with the seized goods were handed over to the police.
