Nigeria to release commemorative stamp on Bangabandhu tomorrow
DHAKA, Aug 26, 2020 (BSS) – The Nigerian Postal Service is going to release a commemorative stamp tomorrow marking the birth centenary of
Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The commemorative stamp release ceremony to be organized by the Bangladesh
High Commission in Abuja, Nigeria will be held on the virtual platform
tomorrow at 5pm (Bangladesh time) and 12 noon (Nigerian time), said a
press release.
Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen and Nigerian Foreign Minister
Geoffrey Onyeama will jointly release the commemorative stamp.
State Minister for Foreign Affairs Md Shahriar Alam and Foreign
Secretary Masud Bin Momen will join from the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs.
Bangladesh High Commissioner to Nigeria Md Shameem Ahsan and Director
General of Nigerian Postal Service Dr Ismail Adebayo Adewusi, among
others, will take part in the stamp release ceremony.
