ICMAB delegation meets BSEC Chairman
DHAKA, Aug 25, 2020 (BSS) – A delegation of The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB), led by its President Md. Jasim Uddin Akond, met BSEC Chairman Prof. Dr. Shibli Rubayat Ul Islam at his office yesterday.
The delegation discussed matters relating to professional interest with BSEC Chairman, said a release today.
Issues related to implementing cost audit in all limited companies were highlighted in the discussion.
In response, the BSEC Chairman ensured ICMAB delegation that he would take necessary steps to implement this as it seems to play a vital role for the economic development and clarity of the country.
Among others, Vice Presidents Abu Bakar Siddique and Md. Mamunur Rashid, Secretary Md. Munirul Islam, Past President & Present Council Member Abdul Aziz and Executive Director of the Institute Md. Mahbub Ul Alam were present in the meeting.
The delegation also met BSEC Commissioners Khondoker Kamaluzzaman, Dr. Shaikh Shamsuddin Ahmed, Professor Dr. Md. Mizanur Rahman and Mr. Md. Abdul Halim at their respective offices.
