Tipu mourns death of Bir Uttam CR Dutta
DHAKA, Aug 25, 2020 (BSS) – Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi today expressed
profound shock and sorrow at the death of one of the sector commanders during
Liberation War Maj Gen (Rtd) Chitta Ranjan Dutta popularly known as CR Dutta,
Bir Uttam.
In a message of condolence, the minister prayed for eternal peace of the
departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
The veteran freedom fighter breathed his last in a Florida hospital in USA
at the age of 93 this morning.
