NARSINGDI, Aug 24, 2020 (BSS) – Bangladesh Krishi Bank (BKB) Narsingdi region has taken a massive plan to disburse Taka 230 crore as agricultural loans among farmers of the district during the current fiscal year 2020-2021.
Official sources said the Bank has already disbursed Taka 13.03 crore among 556 farmers through its 21 branches in the district till August, 2020.
Bangladesh Krishi Bank also plan to realize Taka 188 crore 63 lakh during the same fiscal year and have already realized Taka seven crore from 252 borrowers during the same period (August, 2020) of the current fiscal year.
Deputy General Manager (DGM) of BKB Narsingdi region Mahammad Enamul Hoque told BSS that BKB generally disburse agricultural loan for crop cultivation, pisciculture, livestock sector, setting of poultry farm, purchasing of agriculture equipments, small trading, marketing of agricultural products and socio-economic development activities.
