KHULNA, Aug 22, 2020 (BSS) – Former editor of the Daily Janmobhumi in Khulna and former Khulna Press Club president Wadudur Rahman Panna passed away today afternoon due to respiratory problem at Gazi Medical College and Hospital in the city.
He was 72.
Panna, also the owner of City,s Zohora Khatun Shishu Biddya Niketon, a children kindergarten school, was admitted to the hospital with cardiac problem and tested corona positive.
He left behind his relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
He will be buried at City’s Basupara graveyard after a namaz-e-janaza at Nazirghat Jame mosque tonight.
