NBR forms taskforce to stop fake audit submission
DHAKA, Aug 20, 2020 (BSS) – National Board of Revenue (NBR) has
framed a taskforce to stop submission of fake audit report from
registered companies.
The taskforce has also been assigned to work ensuring the registered
companies to open TIN and income tax return submission, said
officials.
The seven-member taskforce framed on Wednesday will be led by
director of central intelligence cell of income tax division Md
Shabbir Ahmad.
The taskforce would formulate necessary action plan to stop fake
audit report and pass recommendations if there is any problem for TIN
registration and income tax return and audit report submission.
It would also collect necessary information through communicating
with the office of the joint stock companies and firms as well as ICAB
to take measures to stop fake audit report submission.
