DHAKA, Aug 18, 2020 (BSS) – The central committee of Amra Muktijoddhar Shantan (AMS), a pro-liberation organisation, will make correspondence with respective head of the states requesting them to bring back all the fugitive killers of Bangabandhu to the country.

Amra Muktijoddhar Shantan’s central committee will write letters soon through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the head of states, where some five Bangabandhu’s convicted killers remain in fugitive, to bring all them back to the country, they said in an online discussion here.

To mark 45th martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Amra Muktijoddhar Shantan organised the discussion as part of its month-long programme.

The forum leaders also have demanded to form a national commission to unmask the plottere, who were behind the assassination.

Quoting Bangabandhu’s convicted killer Captain Abdul Mazed’s video interview which was recorded before his execution on April 20, the forum leaders said Mazed’s video interview has proved that not only some derailed Army members were involved with the killing, but also other perpetrators were behind the carnage.

With Central president of the forum Sajjad Hossen in the chair, general secretary of the forum Mohammad Rasheduzzaman Shahin moderated the meeting.

The forum leaders, however, claimed that former president Ziaur Rahman had an involvement with the killing spree as Zia’s connection has already been proved particularly from the interview given by Abdul Mazed.

Other forum leaders also attended the function.
