Pranab Mukherjee’s health condition “unchanged” : Hospital
NEW DELHI, Aug 18, 2020 (BSS) – The health condition of India’s former President and veteran politician Pranab Mukherjee has remained “unchanged” and he is still in ventilator support.
“There is no change in the medical condition of Pranab Mukherjee. He continues to be in ventilator support and his vital parameter are stable,” Army Research and Referral Hospital here said in a statement today.
However, Pranab Mukherjee’s son Abhijit Mukherjee on Sunday said that the medical condition of his father has improved and stable as he was responding to treatment.
The former President of India underwent an emergency surgery to remove a brain blood clot on August 10.
Prior to get admitted in the hospital, Pranab Mukherjee tweeted that he had tested positive for coronavirus and got admitted to the hospital with “separate procedure” and requested all, who came in contact with him to isolate themselves.
