DHAKA, Aug 17, 2020 (BSS) – Agriculture Minister Dr M Abdur Razzaque today urged the government to unmask the plotters who were behind the assassination of August 15.
“The local and foreign conspirators who were behind the killing of Bangabandhu on August 15 and they are still active..it is necessary to unmask those plotters”, he said through online while participating a discussion marking the National Mourning Day here.
After forming a commission, the minister also urged the government to enroll the name of the plotters who now have proved their identity before the nation through their conversation and activities.
Terming the carnage of August 15 as the brutal murder in the human history, the agriculture minister said, “we know many political killings in the world, but such a brutal and demonic killing on August 15 was rare throughout the world.”
Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation (BADC) organized the discussion with its Chairman M Sayedul Islam chaired the function. Agriculture Secretary M Nasiruzzaman spoke the function as the special guest.
