Khulna BLF deputy commander Inu passes away

KHULNA, Aug 16, 2020 (BSS) – Khulna deputy commander of Bangladesh Liberation Force (BLF) Younus Ali Inu died of old-age complications at Khulna Medical College Hospital (KMCH) in the early hours today.

He was 80.

Inu, also the former president of Khulna city unit of Awami League, breathed his last around 12.40am.

He was the deputy commander of Bangladesh Liberation Force (BLF) or Mujib Bahini under Sector no-9 during the Liberation War.

Inu left behind his wife, a son, three daughters and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.

A smart contingent of police forces gave a guard of honour before his Namaz-e-Janaza at Pabla Sabuz Sangha Maidan at Daulatpur area in the city after Zuhr prayers.

Khulna City Corporation Mayor Talukder Abdul Khaleque, BLF Commander under Sector no-9 during the Liberation War and Bagerhat Zila Parishad chairman Sheikh Quamruzzaman Tuku, FF S M Babar Ali, AL leaders, among others, attended the namaj-e-janaza.

Later, he was buried at his family graveyard at Pabla Karikorpara in the city.
