Footballer Rayhan tests COVID-19 negative
DHAKA, Aug 16, 2020 (BSS)- National booter Mohammad Rayhan Hasan said he feels fully fine after his report of COVID-19 tested negative.
“You know during the national football conditioning camp few days at Sarah resort I was tested thrice for COVID-19 tests under the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) and among the three COVID-19 results, two tested negative and one was positive. The BFF kept me in special observation after the reports ….. my COVID-19 report again came negative when I was tested yesterday (Saturday last) .. I am fully fit and many, many thanks to BFF for staying beside me and cooperating me through various ways during the time, said Rayhan through a video message today.
In the conditioning camp, the BFF advised three players — Riyadul Hasan, Rakib Hossain and Rayhan Hasan — to keep special observations and Rayhan was one of them.
Earlier, the national team’s conditioning camp was cancelled after the Asian Football Confederation taking consent of FIFA postponed the joint qualifiers round two of FIFA World Cup 2022 and AFC Asian Cup 2023 for next year due to travel restriction for COVID-19 pandemic.
