DHAKA, Aug 16, 2020 (BSS)- State Minister for Cultural Affairs K M Khalid MP today said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is working tirelessly to implement Bangabandhu’s ideology in making the ‘Sonar Bangla’.
He stated this while addressing a discussion titled ‘Bangabandhu in Centenary’ organized by Bangla Academy on the occasion of 45th martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Mourning Day 2020 at Bangla Academy’s Abdul Karim Sahitya Bisharad Auditorium in the capital.
“Under Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s strong leadership , the government has successfully tackled coronavirus and taken Bangladesh economically forward,” he said.
About the month of August, he said it is a sad month for the Bengali nation as in August ’75, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the father of the greatest Bengali nation of all time, was assassinated along with his family.
