Pran O Prakriti Foundation distributes food among Covid-hit people
DHAKA, Aug 14, 2020 (BSS) – The Pran O Prakriti Foundation is distributing food items and financial supports to the COVID-hit poor people in Dhaka city and other areas of the country.
“We are working to alleviate some of the people’s sufferings. Initially, the foundation started supporting poor families in a remote village of Jessore (Basundia). The foundation already distributed some basic food items among 450 families in Basundia village. Currently, it has planned to continue this support for three months, but it can be extended if necessary,” said Chairman of the Foundation Nazmul Islam Khan, according to a press release.
The Foundation also supported some targeted groups of construction workers and cleaners across Dhaka City and a Female Orphanage in Jessore, he added.
