Khunla AL distributes PPE to KMC
KHULNA, Aug 10, 2020 (BSS) – Khulna City chapter of Bangladesh Awami League (AL) on Sunday distributed personal protective equipment (PPE) and other health safety ingredients to the Khulna Medical College and Hospital (KMC) authorities aiming to protect physicians, technologists, nurses and health workers from deadly coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
Khulna City Corporation (KCC) Mayor Talukder Abdul Khaleque handed over the PPE to the Director of KMCH Dr Munshi Reza Sekendar and Principal of KMC Dr Abdul Ahad at Khulna Press Club (KPC).
President of Swadhinata Chikitsak Parishad Dr Shamsul Ahsan Masum, General secretary and Vice-Principal of KMC Dr Mehedi Newaz, Coordinator Dr Farid Uddin Ahmed, Publicity Secretary Dr Zillur Rahman Tarun, AL city unit Secretary MDA Babul Rana, AL leaders Shahedul Haque Mintu, Munshi Mohammad Mahbub Alam Sohag and KPC General Secretary Mamun Reza, among other were present.
Khulna AL received health safety components recently from central Awami League, as part of its countrywide PPE distribution programmes for KMC health workers who are engaged in treating COVID-19 patients.
The health ingredients included oxygen concentrator, PPE, eye goggles, hand sanitizers, sun protectors, shampoo and different medical creams and medicines.
