Two drug peddlers held with 2,830 yaba tablets inMirpur
DHAKA, Aug 8, 2020 (BSS) –The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested two alleged drug dealers and recovered 2,830 yabatablets fromMirpur’sDarussalam police station area on Saturday morning.
The arrested were identified as:Mohammad AslamHawlader, 40, and Mohammad Faisal, 24.
Detective Mirpur Division Assistant Police Commissioner Mohammad TayashirJahanBabu said, acting on a tip-off, a team of the Detective Branch (DB) of police conducted a drive in Darus Salam police station area and arrested them on today morning.
During primary interrogations,the arrestees confessed their involvements in drug peddling in the capital.
A process is underway to take legal action in this connection, he added.
