5 women among 7 held with 18,150 yaba tablets at Khilgaon
DHAKA, June 28, 2018 (BSS) – Detective Branch (DB) of police in separate
raids arrested seven suspected drug peddlers along with 18,150 pieces of
contraband yaba tablets from the capital’s Khilgaon Thana area on Wednesday
night.
“We in separate raids arrested seven persons, Eti, 25, Alamgir Biswas,37,
Al Amin, 45, Hasna Akter Liza, 35, Afroza Akter Lima, 25, Maisa Akter alias
Monisha,16 and Sonia, 20, from in front of Khidmah Hospital and Goran in
Khilgaon around 10pm yesterday,” a DB official said.
DB personnel seized 18,000 pieces of yaba pills from possessions of Eti,
Alamgir and Amin and 150 pieces from possession of the rest of four, he
added.
Legal action was taken against the arrestees.
