DMP-ARREST-DRUG
42 held in city for consuming, selling drugs
DHAKA, Aug 06, 2020 (BSS) – Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), in an
anti-drug drive, has arrested 42 persons from different parts of the
city on charges of consuming and selling drugs in last 48-hours.
A total of 245 pieces of yaba tablets, 5.790 kilograms (kgs) ganja
along with 3 cannabis plants, 76 grams heroin, 103 bottles of
phensidyl and 2 cans of beer were recovered from them, said a press
release.
25 cases have been filed against them under the Narcotics Control
Act with the concerned police stations.
