DHAKA, Aug 6, 2020 (BSS) – State Minister for Information Dr Murad Hasan today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Abu Saleh Sheikh Mohammad (ASSM) ZahirulHaque Dulal, former secretary to law and justice division under Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Ministry.
In a message of condolence, the state minister prayed for salvation of the departed soul and expressed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Zahirul Haque breathed his last at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) last (Wednesday) night at the age of 62.
He was earlier tested positive for COVID-19.
The former secretary left behind wife, two daughters, a host of relatives and well wishers to mourn his death.
Former law secretary Zahirul Haque was in office from February 2 in 2015 to August 7 in 2017 and then the government gave him contractual appointment at the same post for another two years. He went to retirement on August 7 in 2019.
