DHAKA, July 30, 2020 (BSS) – One hundred saplings of 18 species have been planted under the arrangement of foreign ministry as part of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s declared programme of planting one crore saplings marking the ‘Mujib Year’.
In the last four days, the 100 saplings were planted on the premises of foreign ministry, foreign service academy- Sugandha, state guest houses Padma, Meghna and Jamuna, a foreign ministry press release said here today.
Foreign minister Dr AK Abdul Momen inaugurated the tree plantation programme with presence of state minister for foreign affairs Md Shahriar Alam and foreign secretary Masud Bin Momen at the State Guest House Jamuna on July 27.
