BFF to host AFC-U-20, U-17 championships if AFC give consent
DHAKA, July 29, 2020 (BSS)- The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) has applied to Asian Football Confederation (AFC) to participate their women’s teams in the AFC U-20 women’s championship 2022 qualifiers round-1 and AFC U-17 women’s Championship 2022 qualifiers round-1 tournaments.
The BFF also expressed their interest to host AFC U-20 women’s championship and AFC U-17 women’s championship in Cox’s Bazar and Sylhet venue respectively.
If the AFC accept the BFF application, then AFC U-20 women’s championship 2022 qualifiers round-1 matches will be held in Cox’s Bazar and the AFC U-17 women’s Championship 2022 qualifiers round-1 matches in Sylhet venue.
Both the U-20 and U17 tournaments will be from March 13-21, and April 3-11 respectively next year.
