Monitoring teams start operations at cattle markets in city

DHAKA, July 29, 2020 (BSS)- A total of eight monitoring team formed by the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock, have started their activities from today at the sacrificial cattle markets in the capital aiming to ensure sale of healthy sacrificial animals and their treatment.

After forming the monitoring teams, one Deputy Secretary of the Ministry has been assigned to each team, a release said today.

On the same time, other 19 veterinary medical teams including one specialist veterinary medical team of Department of Livestock Services have officially started their activities at cattle markets which are under Dhaka North and South City Corporations from today.

The teams of the department will provide veterinary medical services every day from 8 am to 6 pm till July 31.
