24 drug addicts arrested in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, June 27, 2018 (BSS)- Members of the elite force Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-5 arrested 24 drug addicts and recovered 950 grams of hemp in a day-long anti-drug drives in Chapainawabganj sadar upazila on Tuesday.
RAB conducted the drives at different spots of sadar upazila on Tuesday and arrested 24 persons allegedly for taking drugs.
Later, 14 of the arrested persons were awarded imprisonment on different terms and each of the other 10 was fined Tk. 5,000 through mobile courts.
