AL leader Ali Ashraf Chowdhury passes away
DHAKA, July 26, 2020 (BSS)- Dr Ali Ashraf Chowdhury, Awami League (AL) Labour Affairs Secretary and Muktijoddha Sangsad Assistant Commander of Banshkhali Upazila of Chattogram district, died at the age of 96.
He breathed his last around 2:15pm today while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Chattogram.
He left behind his three sons, five daughters and a host of relatives, colleagues, admirers and well-wishers to mourn his death.
AL General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader expressed deep shock at the death of Ali Ashraf Chowdhury.
In a condolence message, he prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
