Industries Ministry signs APA with subordinate bodies
DHAKA, July 26, 2020 (BSS) – The Industries Ministry today signed the “Annual Performance Agreement” (APA) for the fiscal 2020-21 through online with subordinate offices and organisations for achieving the target and proper implementation of the government announced policies and programs as well as ensuring accountability and transparency.
Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun joined the meeting as the chief guest while State Minister for Industries Kamal Ahmed Mojumder joined as the special guest.
Industries Secretary KM Ali Azam presided over the meeting.
Head of offices and subordinate bodies signed the agreement on behalf of their respective institutions.
Addressing the occasion, Humayun said the government is active to accelerate the country’s economy amid COVID-19. “Under the constant supervision and guidance of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the government is working on the challenge of coordination between life and livelihood,” he added.
He urged officials of all subordinate bodies to play a more active role in the implementation of the plans adopted for the development of the industrial sector.
Kamal Ahmed Mojumder called upon officials of the ministry and agencies to work more sincerely in implementing the action plan adopted under the APA.
