OVID-19 cases in Philippines top 80,000 with 2,110 new cases
MANILA, July 26, 2020 (BSS/XINHUA) – The number of COVID-19 cases in the Philippines surged to 80,448 after the Department of Health (DOH) reported 2,110 new cases on Sunday.
The DOH said that the number of recoveries further rose to 26,110 after 382 more patients have survived the disease.
The death toll also increased to 1,932 after 39 more patients have succumbed to the viral disease, the DOH said.
