AL to remain beside flood-hit people till end: Murad
DHAKA, July 25, 2020 (BSS)- With bearing the legacy of people’s support and love, Awami League will remain beside the flood victims till the end of the deluge and their miseries as well, State Minister for Information Dr Murad Hasan said today.
“No flood victim of the country will remain without food. Awami League is a political party of people’s love and this soil as well. People’s affection is the strength of the party,” he said while distributing reliefs among the flood-affected people of remote char areas of different unions in Sharishabari upazila.
The state minister distributed relief items among 1200 families coming from different villages of Pigna union, Aouna union and Pogaldigha union.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Shihab Uddin Ahmed and upazila unit Awami League president Sanowar Hossain Badsha, among others, were present.
