Govt cancels contract with DGHS DG Abul Kalam Azad
DHAKA, July 23, 2020 (BSS) – The Ministry of Public Administration
issued an order today cancelling the contractual appointment of
Directorate General (DG) of Health Services (DGHS) Director General
(DG) Abul Kalam Azad.
The office order said following Dr Azad’s application, the
government has cancelled his appointment as DG at the DGHS from July
21 as per Section 7 of the contract signed between the government and
him.
Earlier, Azad submitted his resignation letter to the public
administration ministry on Tuesday.
The expiry date of his job was April 14, 2021.
