Hasan mourns Ranguniya upazila chairman Khalilur Rahman’s death
DHAKA, July 23, 2020 (BSS)- Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud toady expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Khalilur Rahman Chowdhury, chairman of Ranguniya upazila council in Chattogram district.
In a condolence message, he said Chowdhury served as a president of Ranguniya upazila Awami League unit with utmost sincerity for long 15 years.
He (Chowdhury) had devoted himself to the welfare of the people of Ranguniya as upazila chairman, the minister added.
Hasan, also AL joint general secretary, prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Khalilur Rahman Chowdhury died at a hospital in Chattogram at the age of 94.
He left behind his wife, a son, two daughters and a host of relatives to mourn his death.
