Sahabuddin Medical MD, two others placed on 5-day remand
DHAKA, July 21, 2020 (BSS) – Shahabuddin Medical College Hospital managing director Faisal Al Islam and two other employees have been put on a five-day remand each over COVID-19 test report forgery allegations.
Two other accused are hospital’s assistant director Abul Hasnat and inventory officer Shahjir.
Metropolitan magistrate Ashek Imam today granted remand against them after police produced them before the court seeking seven-day remand for each person.
On Sunday, a mobile court of RAB, led by Executive Magistrate Sarwar Alam, conducted a raid at the hospital in the wake of various allegations.
On Sunday afternoon, RAB arrested Faisal from a hotel in Gulshan.
Later, Dr Abul Hasnat and Shahjir Kabir Sadi were detained from the hospital on Monday night.
RAB filed a case against them with Gulshan police station on Monday.
