SUNAMGANJ, July 21, 2020 (BSS) – Six people were injured as a bus plunged into a road-side canal in Nilpool bazaar area of Sadar upazila here this morning.
The accident occurred in the area when the driver of the bus, carrying 25 passengers, lost control over the steering, said Mizanur Rahman, police super of Sunamganj.
Fire Service and Civil Defence rescued the six people and sent them to Sunamganj Sadar Hospital.
A team of divers from Sylhet and two units of Sunamganj fire services are working to search for any missing person in the canal.
