Two minors die in Thakurgaon
THAKURGAON, July 20, 2020 (BSS) – Two children died in separate incidents in Thakurgaon.
The deceased are Faradul Islam, 12, son of Latifur Rahman of Hatpara village in Pirganj upazila and Mohammad Hossain, 3, son of Ismail Hossain, a resident of Ranishankail upazila.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Pirganj police station Pradeep Kumar Roy said Faradul Islam was hit by a thunderbolt while digging a ditch adjacent to their house on Sunday afternoon, leaving him dead on the spot.
Officer-in-charge (OC) of Ranishankail police station Abdul Mannan said Mohammad fell into a hole on Sunday afternoon. Later, family members recovered his bodies.
