3 accused of Sylhet Ripon murder sent to jail
SYLHET, July 20, 2020 (BSS) – A Sylhet court today sent three accused to jail after they have surrendered before the court in connection with killing of a workers union leader Iqbal Hosain Ripon
Izajul and Rimu , most wanted in the killing have surrendered before the 3rd Judge of Metropolitan Court Sharmin Khanam Nila who sent them to Jail.
Another accused Sebul Hassan who was detained from Shreemangal area under Moulovibazar district last night was also sent to jail as he was produced before the court today .
Police said in all seven persons have been detained in connection with the killing of general secretary of Sylhet Tank Lorry Workers Union Ripon.
Union leader Ripon was stabbed to death by some miscreants on July 10 at Daksin Surma Babna area.
