Paikgachha upazila chairman M Ali passes away
KHULNA, July 18, 2020 (BSS) – Paikgachha Upazila Parishad chairman freedom fighter Gazi Mohammad Ali died of COVID-19 on Friday afternoon. He was 70.
Ali, also a former vice-president of Khulna district Awami League (AL), breathed his last at about 4.30pm at Gazi Medical College Hospital (GMCH), Dr Gazi Mizanur Rahman confirmed.
Earlier, on Thursday, he was admitted to corona suspected isolation center of Khulna Medical College Hospital (KMCH) with fever and respiratory problem.
Later, he was shifted to the private hospital yesterday afternoon.
He left behind his wife, three sons, well-wishers and huge admires to mourn his death.
