Motorcycle rider killed in Panchagarh road accident
PANCHAGARH, July 17, 2020(BSS) – A motorcycle rider was killed in a road accident on the Dhaka-Panchagarh highway in Moydandigi area under Boda upazila of the district this noon.
The deceased was identified as Nowshad Ali, 28 , son of Joje Mia of Borokamat village under the upazila.
Locals said the accident occurred when a Power tiller knocked Nowshad’s motorcycle from behind in the area as he was going to Thakurgon from Panchagarh riding on it, leaving him dead on the spot.
Being informed, highway police rushed to the spot and recovered the body and sent it to Panchagarh Sadar Hospital morgue, Sub-Inspector (SI) of Boda Highway Police Abdul Kader Jilani confirmed.
An unnatural death (UD) case was filed with Boda Highway Thana in this connection.
