2 held with narcotics in Manikganj
MANIKGANJ, July 15, 2020 (BSS) – Police arrested an alleged narcotics peddler from Dakkhin Ulail area under Shibalaya upazila of the district on Tuesday evening.
The arrestee was identified as Sumon, 35, resident of the same area.
On a tip-off, a team of police conducted a raid in the area and arrested Sumon with 4-kilogram of ganja, said Firoj Kabir, officer-in-charge of Shibalaya Police Station.
Besides, in another drive police arrested Akkas Ali, 52, with 100-gram heroin from his house at Sribari village of Ghior upazila.
Two separate cases were filed in these connections, the OC added.
