Taskforce’s recommendations for license renewal to be evaluated: Taposh
DHAKA, July 14, 2020 (BSS) – The taskforce and its related
committee’s recommendations for renewal of trade licenses of
non-combustible business entities will be evaluated and reviewed.
Dhaka South City Corporation Mayor Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor
Taposh stated this while exchanging views with the leaders of
Bangladesh Plastic Manufacturers and Exporters Association at Nagar
Bhaban today.
Replying a question of BPMEA leaders, the mayor said: “We will take
your request seriously. We will evaluate the views of the task force
and its related committee recommendations for renewal of trade
licenses of non-combustible business entities.”
During the meeting, the business leaders mentioned the existing
problems and possibilities of this sector and requested to renew and
issue trade licenses in the interest of keeping the industries of old
Dhaka running until they are shifted to the industrial city.

President Khoka Sikder and Chief Executive Officer of City Corporation
Shah Mohammad Imdadul Haque, among others, were present in the
meeting.
