Roadside bomb kills 5 civilians outside Kabul

KABUL, July 14, 2020 (BSS/XINHUA) – Five civilians were killed and 11 others injured as a roadside bomb struck a mini-bus in Sarobi district outside Afghanistan’s capital Kabul on Tuesday, district governor Gohar Khan Babari said.

According to the official, the deadly incident took place at noon, and all the victims were civilians.

Babari blamed Taliban militants for carrying out the bombing to terrorize the people. The armed outfit, however, has yet to claim responsibility.

A deadly bombing in the northern Samangan province on Monday for which Taliban claimed responsibility left over a dozen dead and injured more than 60 others.
