Hasan condoles death of Jamuna Group Chairman
DHAKA, July 13, 2020 (BSS) – Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud today expressed deep shock at the death of chairman of Jamuna Group Nurul Islam Babul.
In a condolence message, Hasan said, “I am really shocked at the sad demise of the noted businessman.”
Hasan said, “Babul has made a good contribution to the business sector of the country. He was the owner of different leading media outlets including
‘Daily Jugantor’ and ‘Jamuna Television’.”
He prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family members.
Nurul Islam Babul passed away this afternoon at the age of 74.
