One killed in Madaripur road accident
MADARIPUR, July 13, 2020 (BSS) –A carpenter was killed today when a trolley carrying electricity poles hit him in front of Ansar Battalion camp at Kulpadi in Madaripur upazila here.
Deceased was identified as Liton Hawlader, 25, son of Khalil Hawlader , of Kalaimara village under Jhaudi union sadar upazila.
Locals said ,in the morning, when a trolley was heading towards Jhaudi area from Mostafapur with a load of electricity poles collided with carpenter Liton who was cycling from the opposite direction.
Liton died on the spot when the trolley hit him in the Kulpadbi area.
Madaripur Sadar Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Kamrul Hasan Mia said, the body of the deceased was recovered and sent to the morgue of Madaripur Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
Police seized the trolly but its driver managed to flee.
