DHAKA, July 13, 2020 (BSS) – Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at isolated places over the country today.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, said a met office release here.
The axis of monsoon trough runs through Rajsthan, Panjab, Hariyana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal to Assam across northern part of Bangladesh. One of its associated trough extends up to North Bay. Monsoon is active over Bangladesh and moderate over North Bay.
Maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded 34.8 degrees Celsius at Jashore and minimum temperature today 23.2 degrees Celsius at Nikli.
Maximum rainfall for the last twenty-four till 6am today was recorded 125millimeters (mm) at Dimla.
