Fake police held in Uttara
DHAKA, July 11, 2020 (BSS) – Members of Uttara East Police arrested a fake policeman from Azampur area of Uttara in the city as he was fleeing after snatching a mobile phone set from the area.
The arrested was identified as Md Nasir, 43, a resident of Khejur Bagan area under Ashulia thana.
Inspector of DMP’s Uttara East Police Station (Operations) Md Monirul Haque Dablu confirmed the matter to BSS on Saturday.
During the drive, police also recovered a walkie-talkie set , a picture of him wearing police uniform and the snatched mobile phone set from his possession.
A case was filed in this regard with Uttara East Police Station.
