Motorcycle rider killed in Manikganj road accident
MANIKGANJ, July 11, 2020 (BSS) – A motorbike rider was killed as a bus hit his bike at Mohadebpur Bridge of Dhulandi area in Sadar upazila here on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Mahin Khan, 19, son of late Md. Abu Bakkar Khan of village Paturia under Ghior upazila of the district.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Barangail Highway Police Bashudeb Sinha said the accident occurred at about 11 am on the Dhaka-Aricha highway when a Dhaka-bound bus hit the motorcycle from opposite direction, leaving its rider Mahin injured critically.
Mahin was rushed to Manikganj Sadar Hospital and later was sent to Savar Enam Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
A case was filed in this connection.
