DNCC, DSCC mayors condole death of Sahara
DHAKA, July 10, 2020 (BSS) – Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Mayor Atiqul Islam and Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mayor Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Awami League Presidium Member and former home minister Advocate Sahara Khatun, MP.
In separate messages of condolence, they said she was a freedom fighter and visionary political leader and her death is an irreparable loss to the nation.
They prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family.
Sahara Khatun died at a Bangkok hospital at the age of 77 last night.
