Tokyo stocks inch higher on bargain-hunting
TOKYO, June 26, 2018 (BSS/AFP) – Tokyo stocks edged up at the close Tuesday
as bargain-hunting purchases overwhelmed worries over US-China trade
frictions.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index gained 0.02 percent or 3.85 points to
22,342.00, while the broader Topix index was up 0.16 percent or 2.80 points
at 1,731.07.
