SYDNEY, July 9, 2020 (BSS/AFP) – Australia on Thursday extended the visas of around 10,000 Hong Kongers living in the country by five years following China’s security crackdown on the territory.
Prime Minister Scott Morrison said a pathway to Australian permanent residency would also be offered to Hong Kong citizens currently in the country on student or temporary work visas.
