14-party alliance to be taken forward: Amu
DHAKA, July 8, 2020 (BSS) – Newly elected coordinator and spokesperson of the central 14-party alliance Amir Hossain Amu today said the alliance would be moved forward by maintaining good relations with allies and implementing relevant programmes of the coalition.
“The programmes of the alliance will be announced following the instructions of Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and maintaining good relations with allies,” he told reporters in an immediate reaction after he was made the coordinator and spokesperson of the 14-party coalition.
Amu, also Awami League advisory council member, said as coronavirus pandemic continues in the country, the political alliance will remain beside the country’s people by implementing welfare-oriented programmes.
He expressed gratitude to AL President Sheikh Hasina for giving him the responsibility of the alliance’s coordinator and spokesperson.
Amu said late AL presidium member MahammedNasim was the spokesperson of the 14-party alliance and he always kept the allies active through different programmes.
He sought eternal peace of the departed soul of MahammedNasim.
