Hasan mourns death of veteran journalist DP Barua
DHAKA, July 8, 2020 (BSS) – Information Minister and Awami League Joint General Secretary Dr Hasan Mahmud today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of veteran journalist and former chief editor and managing director of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) Deba Priya Barua.
In a condolence message, the minister prayed for salvation of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
More known as DP Barua breathed his last at 5.30 am while he was asleep at his Maghbazar residence in the city today.
