Drug peddler held with 600 yaba tablets in Rajshahi
RAJSHAHI, July 8, 2020 (BSS) – Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), in an anti-crime drive, arrested an alleged drug peddler with 600 yaba tablets here last night.
According to the RAB sources, the arrested was identified as Shukumar Shaha, 45, son of late Gurupada Shaha of Dighalkandi village under Puthiya Upazila in the district.
A team of the elite force, being informed, conducted a raid in Durlavpur area under Belpukur Police Station and arrested him with the contraband item around 9.30 pm red-handed, RAB sources said here today.
A case was recorded with Belpukur Police Station and the arrested person along with the seized goods was handed over to police.
